Volleyball Recap: Norton's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Norton had taken Chippewa down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Chipps. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chipps apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Chippewa scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20.

Lillian Flohr paced Norton's offense, picking up seven kills. Flohr really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12.

Having lost for the first time this season, Norton fell to 2-1. As for Chippewa, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Norton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Field on the 26th. As for Chippewa, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Dalton on the 26th.
