Volleyball Recap: Lawndale Takes a Loss

Lawndale lost against St. Monica on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Lawndale fell just short of St. Monica by a score of 1-0. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lawndale's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for St. Monica, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8-2.

Lawndale will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Environmental Charter at 3:30 p.m. on April 9. As for St. Monica, they will head out to take on St. Anthony at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Anthony will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something St. Monica surely won't give up without a fight.
