Volleyball Recap: Breckenridge Takes a Loss

Breckenridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Denver City Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buckaroos of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-9.

Breckenridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Denver City, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Breckenridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Paradise on the 22nd. As for Denver City, they will face off against Trinity Christian at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
