Preview: Richfield Tigers vs. Camas County Mushers
Richfield and Camas County are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Richfield Tigers the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Camas County Mushers at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Richfield will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings (they are ranked 149th, while Camas County is ranked 17th).
Richfield suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Hagerman, falling 54-22.
Meanwhile, Camas County put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They blew past Dietrich 76-46 on the road. That looming 76-46 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Camas County yet this season.
Richfield's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-11. As for Camas County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Everything went Richfield's way against Camas County in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as Richfield made off with a 57-36 victory. Does Richfield have another victory up their sleeve, or will Camas County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
