For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Anaheim and Magnolia meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Colonists' defense stepped up to hand the Sentinels a 7-0 shutout. The Colonists haven't had any issues with the Sentinels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Jacob Campos threw for 129 yards on eight of 23 attempts. Christopher Lara was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards. On the ground, Lloyd Nolasco rushed for 78 yards on only nine carries.

Anaheim's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Magnolia, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Anaheim wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 54-21 win against Loara on the 3rd. As for Magnolia, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-28 victory against Savanna on the 2nd.
