Basketball Recap: Wheaton North Takes a Loss

Wheaton North lost against Glenbard North back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wheaton North Falcons took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glenbard North Panthers. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wheaton North has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season. As for Glenbard North, the win got them back to even at 13-13.

Looking ahead, Wheaton North won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bloomington at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Wheaton North is facing Bloomington at the right time seeing as Bloomington is stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Glenbard North, they and Oswego will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
