Basketball Recap: La Plata Comes Up Short

La Plata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 57-42 fall against the Schuyler County Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-34 back in January.

La Plata's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Schuyler County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Schuyler County, they will challenge Putnam County at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th.
