Banneker Academy and Summit Academy squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Banneker Academy had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 62-61 to the Summit Academy Eagles. Banneker Academy's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Summit Academy was led to victory by Cincere Tucker and Justin Rodriguez. Tucker posted 24 points in addition to five boards and three steals, while Rodriguez scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Jasper Meissner, who had 11 points.
