Baseball Recap: East Union Gets the Win

East Union posted their closest victory since March 27, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Manteca Buffaloes 5-4. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Buffaloes recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Brayden Camara was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. East Union is 4-1 when Camara posts two or more runs, but 10-11 otherwise. Randy Martinez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

East Union's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Manteca, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-7 record this season.

East Union will have a chance to go back-to-back against Manteca: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
