Baseball Recap: Linton-Stockton Miners vs. Northview Knights

The third road game was the charm for Linton-Stockton, as they earned their first road win of the season. They had just enough and edged the Northview Knights out 5-4. That's more bragging rights for Linton-Stockton, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Blaike Husband made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Husband was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Russell Goodman was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
