Baseball Recap: Perrysburg Yellow Jackets vs. Springfield Blue Devils
While Perrysburg put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Springfield. The Yellow Jackets put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 16-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Yellow Jackets considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Tyler Palmer made a splash while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Lucas Graham was incredible, going 3-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was JD Zeeb, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
Perrysburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Springfield only posted an OBP of .200.
