Basketball Game Preview: Whitnall Falcons vs. West Allis Central Bulldogs

Whitnall is a perfect 3-0 against West Allis Central since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Falcons will be home for the holidays to greet the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Whitnall is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.6 points per game this season.

Whitnall is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Milwaukee Lutheran 74-35 on Tuesday. The Falcons' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Riley Ward produced another solid effort shooting 56% from the field en route to 23 points. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Kylee Sias-Chaney, who went 6-for-8 to rack up 14 points and four steals.

Whitnall was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

Meanwhile, West Allis Central came up short against Brown Deer on Tuesday and fell 37-30. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

West Allis Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Whitnall, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Whitnall beat West Allis Central 61-50 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
