The timing is sure in Johns Creek's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while North Gwinnett has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Johns Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 86-53 win over Northview. Given the Gladiators' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Titans are ranked 491st), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, North Gwinnett came up short against Sequoyah on Saturday and fell 81-73.

North Gwinnett's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Johns Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
