Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kingsland). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 68-34 victory over the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Knights have posted since February 1, 2024.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maria Almaraz-Nolt, who went 5-for-9 en route to 11 points. Another player making a difference was Benita Nolt, who posted eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Kingsland's victory bumped their record up to 5-18. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-24.

Kingsland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, they will venture away from home to square off against Spring Grove/Mabel-Canton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
