Softball Recap: Beaver Dam Golden Beavers vs. Waunakee Warriors
Beaver Dam entered their game against Waunakee on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Golden Beavers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Golden Beavers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Warriors since on Tuesday.
Emma Julka was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Julka was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
