Basketball Recap: New Buffalo Takes a Loss

New Buffalo suffered their biggest loss since February 13, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Bridgman Bees, falling 36-15. The Bison have struggled against the Bees recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meetings.

Despite the defeat, New Buffalo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Peyton Swain posted six points and six rebounds.

New Buffalo's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Bridgman, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-8.

New Buffalo has already played their next game, a 51-15 defeat against Constantine on the 3rd. As for Bridgman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-37 victory against Cassopolis on the 3rd.
