Basketball Game Preview: Cumberland Beavers vs. Unity Eagles

Cumberland hasn't had much luck against Unity recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Beavers will look to defend their home court against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Thursday, Cumberland had to suffer through a 73-34 loss at the hands of Ladysmith. While losing is never fun, the Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 416th, while the Lumberjacks are ranked 206th).

Meanwhile, Unity lost 62-39 to St. Croix Falls on Thursday.

Unity's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cumberland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
