Baseball Game Preview: Christchurch School Seahorses vs. Norfolk Christian Ambassadors

The Christchurch School Seahorses will face off against the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Christchurch School nor Norfolk Christian posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Last Tuesday, Christchurch School came up short against The Covenant and fell 6-2. The Seahorses have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christchurch School saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dallas Davis, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Mac Bargatze also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Norfolk Christian came up short against Oscar Smith on Wednesday, falling 7-1. The contest marked the Ambassadors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Christchurch School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Norfolk Christian, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Christchurch School has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Norfolk Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
