Jackson skates past Dillard with ease

Make it six blowout wins for the Jackson Generals this season. They really took it to Dillard for the full four quarters, racking up a 43-0 victory on the road. The victory was just what Jackson needed coming off of a 68-43 loss in their prior game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jackson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordany Fils-Aime, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Leonard Clark was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Dillard, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will take on Dr. Krop at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dillard won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Blanche Ely at 8:00 p.m. on January 20th. Blanche Ely presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dillard in Florida (Blanche Ely is ranked 70th, while Dillard is ranked 280th).
