Basketball Recap: Hankinson Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Hankinson can bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past the Lisbon Broncos with points to spare, taking the game 52-37. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 55-54 victory the Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2021.

Hankinson's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Lisbon, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Hankinson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-48 victory against Ellendale on the 3rd. As for Lisbon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-22 defeat against Wahpeton on the 3rd.
