Baseball Recap: Trimble County Comes Up Short

Trimble County managed to slip by Eminence the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders lost 8-2 to the Warriors on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Nolan Hunt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Trimble County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Eminence, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Trimble County is set to challenge their familiar foe Owen County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Eminence will take on rival Henry County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
