Volleyball Recap: Cordova's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday + How To Watch

Cordova had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Oakman Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win on September 6th.

Cordova didn't let Oakman take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24.

Cordova's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amari Hagler, who had ten kills and one block. Hagler has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last seven times she's played.

Cordova's victory bumped their record up to 18-15. As for Oakman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Cordova didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Dora on the 23rd. As for Oakman, they will take on Leeds at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
