Volleyball Recap: Forbush Falcons vs. North Surry Greyhounds

After flying high against Wilkes Central last Thursday, Forbush came back down to earth. The Forbush Falcons fell just short of the North Surry Greyhounds by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.

While Forbush ultimately came up short, they really made North Surry work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15, 22-25, 22-25, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Forbush still got an impressive performance from Karly Berrier, who had 24 digs. Berrier is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last eight games she's played dating back to last season.

Julie Anna Lawson was a one-man wrecking crew for North Surry as she had 38 digs and two aces.
