Riverside won against Austin on Tuesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Rangers beat the Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy Warriors by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-2. Considering the Rangers have won 13 contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Kaylee Castro made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Castro was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2025.
