Middletown came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Willits Wolverines by a score of 22-9. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 14-7 win the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.
