Softball Game Preview: Russellville Golden Tigers vs. West Morgan Rebels

The Russellville Golden Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the West Morgan Rebels at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Russellville's hitters haven't had much luck over their past five matchups, but Monday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Russellville's offense. They fell 3-0 to Itawamba Agricultural on Saturday.

Bryleigh Butler was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

Meanwhile, West Morgan also failed to score in their most recent game. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Austin on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Black Bears: they've now lost four in a row.
