Basketball Recap: Jaxon Olson and Rocky Rhoades Secure Win for Tabiona

Tabiona won the last time they faced Monticello and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers secured a 49-45 W over the Buckaroo. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Tabiona was led to victory by Rocky Rhoades and Jaxon Olson. Rhoades shot 62% from the field en route to 19 points, while Olson went 5-for-11 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rhoades has scored at least a third of the Tigers' points. Another player making a difference was Cayse Thomas, who posted eight points and seven boards.

Monticello lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Triston Felix, who made all 5 shots he took for 14 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cache Young, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 13 points and six boards.
