Basketball Recap: Metro-East Lutheran Skates Past KIPP with Ease

After only 30 points in their last contest, Metro-East Lutheran made sure to put some points up on the board against KIPP on Saturday. The Metro-East Lutheran Knights blew past the KIPP Wolves 65-34. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Junior Brown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 9 on his way to 16 points in addition to five assists and four blocks.

Metro-East Lutheran's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-8. As for KIPP, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Metro-East Lutheran is taking a road trip to challenge Collinsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Collinsville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.1 points per game this season. As for KIPP, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gateway Tech at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th.
