Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hinsdale South). They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Proviso East Pirates on Thursday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Hinsdale South moved to 7-10-1 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Proviso East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Hinsdale South will square off against Nazareth Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Proviso East, they will face off against Glenbard South at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
