Baseball Recap: Flatonia Comes Up Short

Flatonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the East Bernard Brahmas. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Flatonia now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for East Bernard, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Looking ahead, Flatonia will face off against Tidehaven at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Tidehaven's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Flatonia's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for East Bernard, their road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Paul at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. East Bernard is facing St. Paul at the right time seeing as St. Paul is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
