Loyola College Prep's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the North Caddo Titans. This was a revenge game for the Flyers: when they faced off against the Titans back in February, they had to take a 6-1 defeat.

Larkin Krieg spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on two hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Grace May, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Carsyn Weeks also deserves some recognition as she scored her first runs of the season.

Loyola College Prep's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-7. As for North Caddo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Loyola College Prep and North Caddo will both be playing Caddo Magnet the next time they take the field. Loyola College Prep will head out to face Caddo Magnet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while North Caddo will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
