Soccer Recap: Monterey Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Monterey challenged DeKalb County on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 9-0 to the Tigers. Monterey have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monterey's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for DeKalb County, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Monterey will be playing at home against Upperman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for DeKalb County, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Livingston Academy at 6:30 p.m. on September 2.
