Baseball Recap: Ben Lippen Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Ben Lippen Falcons came up short against the Jupiter Warriors and fell 8-3.

Ben Lippen saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Bishop, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Ben Lippen's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Jupiter, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Ben Lippen will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Augusta Christian at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Jupiter, they will head out on the road to face off against NSU University at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. NSU University is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
