South Portland is a perfect 10-0 against Bonny Eagle since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The South Portland Red Riots will challenge the Bonny Eagle Scots at 7:45 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Portland comes in on three and Bonny Eagle on five.

South Portland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They strolled past Scarborough with points to spare, taking the game 63-45. That's two games straight that the Red Riots have won by exactly 18 points.

Meanwhile, Bonny Eagle hadn't done well against Thornton Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Bonny Eagle managed a 47-41 victory over Thornton Academy.

South Portland's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points over those games. As for Bonny Eagle, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

South Portland was able to grind out a solid win over Bonny Eagle in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 44-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Portland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
