Softball Recap: Oswego East Comes Up Short

Oswego East entered their game against Harvard on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wolves lost 10-2 to the Hornets. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Wolves couldn't push the score so high this time.

Oswego East saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie Maday, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Oswego East now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Harvard, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Oswego East has already played their next matchup, a 6-5 defeat against Richmond-Burton on the 19th. As for Harvard, they will head out on the road to square off against Grayslake North at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Knights will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
