Basketball Recap: De Leon Takes a Loss

De Leon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 68-19 defeat at the hands of the Hico Tigers. The contest marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

De Leon's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Hico, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. De Leon will venture away from home to challenge Hamilton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hico, they are taking a road trip to face off against Poolville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hico is facing Poolville at the right time seeing as Poolville is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
