Recap: Evans Trojans vs. Ocoee Knights
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Evans Trojans walked away with it. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 63-55 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but Evans sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Arosco Dubois was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jermaine Hardy, who scored 11 points.
Evans is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Ocoee, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-10.
Evans' road trip will continue as they head out to face Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on February 23rd. Evans knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 games -- so hopefully Seminole likes a good challenge. Ocoee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
