Soccer Preview: Clackamas Looking to Get the Offense Going Against Gresham

The Clackamas Cavaliers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Gresham Gophers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Clackamas' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Clackamas fell victim to Central Catholic and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Clackamas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 55th, while Central Catholic are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Gresham also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 3-0 to David Douglas on Thursday.

Clackamas is now 6-3-2, having gone 0-1-2 since their three-game winning streak ended. As for Gresham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 10 of their last 11 matchups. That's left a mark on their 1-10-1 record this season.
