It was a good run, but Taylor unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Salado Eagles. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, the Ducks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for Salado, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taylor will square off against Manor New Tech at 7:15 p.m. on March 18th. As for Salado, they will venture away from home to square off against Giddings at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
