General Brown waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 48-30 victory over the South Jefferson Spartans. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Spartans are ranked 470th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

General Brown's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points over those games. As for South Jefferson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

As of now, neither General Brown nor South Jefferson have any future games scheduled.
