Softball Recap: WACO Comes Up Short

WACO was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Danville Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 15-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2016.

WACO's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Danville, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. WACO will host Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Danville, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Lone Tree at 7:00 p.m.
