Everything went their way against Austin Achieve on Monday as they made off with a 22-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six contests by 15 runs or more so far this season.
Lorianna Cutrer and Mikaela Montoya were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Cutrer tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Montoya tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Cutrer scored two runs while going 1-for-3, while Montoya went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. Montoya also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Brianna Fisher was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Evy Leon was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
