Soccer Game Preview: North Fort Myers vs. St. John Paul II Academy

The North Fort Myers Red Knights will face off against the St. John Paul II Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as North Fort Myers comes in on 11 and St. John Paul II Academy on three.

North Fort Myers' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Riverview Sarasota by a score of 2-0. Kenlee Dominguez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Red Knights.

Meanwhile, St. John Paul II Academy won against FAU High last Thursday with four goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. Everything went St. John Paul II Academy's way against Saint Andrew's as St. John Paul II Academy made off with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

North Fort Myers pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those six games. As for St. John Paul II Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1-1.
