Volleyball Recap: Aspire Langston Hughes Academy Comes Up Short

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Millennium Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 7th.

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (106-103), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24, 17-25, 20-25, 15-10.

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Millennium, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.

As of now, neither Aspire Langston Hughes Academy nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
