Preview: Community Charter Titans vs. Fulton Jaguars
Community Charter has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Fulton Jaguars at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Community Charter focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
Last Friday, Community Charter came up short against Orthopaedic and fell 44-33.
Despite the loss, Community Charter had strong showings from Edem Ladzekpo, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals, and Daniel Amescua, who scored 5 points along with 6 rebounds. The match was Ladzekpo's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Meanwhile, Fulton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. Their tough 61-40 defeat to Central City Value might stick with them for a while.
Community Charter's victory lifted them to 1-5 while Orthopaedic's defeat dropped them down to 3-3.
Community Charter took a serious blow against Fulton when the teams last played back in December of 2014, falling 70-30. Can Community Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
