Basketball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

If Lexington was riding high fresh off their 69-46 takedown of Thomasville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lexington Yellowjackets lost 70-45 to the North Rowan Cavaliers on Monday. The Yellowjackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cavaliers earlier this season, when they won 66-60.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for North Rowan, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Lexington nor North Rowan have any future games scheduled.
