Basketball Recap: Morris Comes Up Short

Morris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 62-44 to the Sandwich Indians. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-47 last Friday.

Morris' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Sandwich, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season.

Morris has already played their next game, a 49-36 victory against Wilmington on the 4th. As for Sandwich, they will square off against Rochelle at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Rochelle's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
