It was a good run, but Clermont Northeastern unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Seven Hills Stingers, falling 6-0. Peyton Geer was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Clermont Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3-3. As for Seven Hills, they pushed their record up to 11-5-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Clermont Northeastern and Seven Hills will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Rockets see the pitch they'll take on Bishop Fenwick at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Seven Hills, their break will end when they face Finneytown at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th.
