Football Recap: Ringwood Takes a Loss

Ringwood lost against Yale back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Red Devils took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 50-20.

Braiden Hodgett went supernova For Yale., rushing for 141 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Hodgett's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his tenth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. Tanner Moore got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Ringwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Yale, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ringwood will welcome Pond Creek-Hunter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Yale, they will square off against Weleetka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 945 yards in their previous games.
