Basketball Recap: Simon Tech Comes Up Short

After flying high against University Pathways Public Service Academy last Thursday, Simon Tech came back down to earth. The Simon Tech Huskies lost to the Glenn Eagles on the road by a 51-34 margin on Wednesday.

Bundana Adams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Glenn, putting up 26 points. The matchup was Adams' seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cencere Waller, who posted six points.

Simon Tech now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Glenn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Simon Tech will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on TEACH Tech Charter at 2:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Glenn, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-40 win against Ganesha on the 13th.
